Formal English garden
London, UK
My brief with this garden was to create a planting scheme that entwined the beautiful lush, free-flowing beauty of English herbaceous borders with the structured elegance of Italian design.
The contrast between the structured hedges and fountain and the organic shapes of the plants provides a captivating balance.
The plants choices were carefully curated to create an interplay between flowers, shrubs and trees, both deciduous and evergreen. They add layers of texture and colour throughout the seasons, ensuring there is always something beautiful to behold. The overall effect is to harmonise the garden’s architectural elements, further enhancing its beauty.
